I found some useful information in this book, but some of the main info I was looking for was not there. I’ve owned an inversion table for about five years but until recently hadn’t used it that often. Becoming more aware of all the health benefits of it, I’ve decided to make this part of my daily routine. I bought this book hoping to find info on the best way to go about this. One of my main inquiries was how often to do it and for how long. Well, the book did address the how often part- once a day starting out, up to twice a day thereafter. But practically no information was given regarding amount of time. The only info presented regarding time is “start slowly, just give it a minute or two..just do a couple minutes each time for the first few days.. don’t do longer than five minutes the first monthâ€.Ok, great. But what about after the first few days? Should I move up to 5 minutes then? And how many days would I stay at 5 minutes? What about after the first month? What is the ideal amount of time to work towards? Can maximum benefit be achieved in 10 or 15 minutes, or would that require 30 minutes or longer? Or can I stay at 5 minutes and still get just as much benefit?I really wish this information would have been included.
I bought this looking for instruction on HOW to invert, mostly this is about WHY to invert. Additionally, I did not feel that the quality of information was equal to the price.
I've had an inversion table for 4 years but never used it much even though I believed it had great medical benefits. When I saw this book advertised on Amazon I had to have it. I've been using my inversion table every day and my back pain is hardly noticeable. Thank you!
I purchased this book to find out more information about Inversion Therapy for my back. But before reading it, my doctor told me I'm not a good candidate for inversion therapy so I haven't read the entire book. For those interested in inversion therapy I recommend seeing your doctor first to discuss and then get the book to learn about it.
Was not as technical as I hoped for. Felt !like I had just talked with a neighbor. Would have been happier if book had been shorter and more to the point.
Poorly written and has very little on the inversion exercise (only 4 pages, p.91-95).
She was enthusiastic about inversion therapy. There was nothing in the book you couldn’t find on the internet. Not money well spent. I am glad it didn’t cost much!
