Mrs. D B Dyer was the wife of an Indian Agent for the Cheyennes and Arapahoes in Indian Territory during 1884-1885. Her account of that time period was written some years later and published in 1896. Her husband allegedly divorced her after reading it, as she took up a good deal of the book expressing her feelings about marriage and husbands that cheat. Fair enough, but I wanted to read more about the Cheyennes and Arapahoes. There was some good detail, I just wish there was more of it.
