“Spanish Phrase book for Travelers (with audio!)” is a great book to learn Spanish. I am a native Spanish speaker, and I absolutely found this book to be useful and a must-have for those who want to learn Spanish and are planning to travel to a Spanish-speaking country. The book starts with the basics (Hi, My name is, etc. …) and finishes with complex phrases that will help you make complete sentences and establish coherent conversations. I enjoyed that the book also contains how to pronounce each word! Spanish is quite complicated, and I think this book does a great job at summarizing essential words and phrases that will help you communicate clearly. There were some words and phrases that I found to be incorrect. Essentially the words were correctly translated but the context in which the word was been used was incorrect (Esta/Este, Esa/Ese, etc). However, it was a very small portion of the book. As a native Spanish speaker, I recommend this book.

I purchased this book because I am currently traveling through Central America, and want to improve my Spanish skills. I did not study Spanish formally, so I find it to be really helpful and easy to navigate. The chapters are broken up into topics relevant to traveling. I have been shy to practice Spanish with locals in the past, but I feel this book will continue to be a practical reference guide for me through my travels. The audio helps with pronunciation that I might not have known otherwise. Definitely recommend this purchase for anyone traveling through Spanish speaking countries, who might need a little extra knowledge and confidence with their Spanish skills.

I love that this book comes with an MP3, it really helps with pronunciation. I am excited to try to use what I have learned when I go to Spain in May! It is also really nice that the chapters are broken up into topics relevant to traveling.

I enjoyed this book very much. It is awesome for beginners as well as people who wish to brush up on the language I took Spanish for a few years and I found it very helpful especially since I have been out of practice! The book goes over phrases from various topics, especially ones that come up in everyday conversation. Lastly, I loved how they had the phonetics of how to say each word.
