I truly enjoyed this book. Sweet story line with beautiful characters. I love stories that incorporate someone that has been injured and are struggling with the aftermath. Watching them learn self worth again and trying to come to terms with their lasting injury. Love can do so much for them and when they find it they become a new whole again.Brawny (Braun) Winters is recovering from the devastating accident that left him scarred and with only one eye. Recovery has put him at a loss of how to be part of a community again. People are cruel with words and he becomes a recluse, coming to town only when he must.Chelsea Tory is a doctor who plans to remain in the town only until her services are no longer needed after the cleanup of the Mine disaster and Mudslide caused by an earthquake. She was on hand the day he was injured and is fighting the feelings she has for him.A marriage proposal from Chelsea, denied.Fate will bring these two together finally when his mother becomes deathly ill. Can they each work through the problems surrounding them? A marriage proposal from Brawny denied.When will these two see what everyone around them does?I highly recommend this book. I could not put it down. It kept me reading. Christine Sterling has the ability to grab your interest in the story right away and hold it until the book is finished.

I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend it. The chemistry and beautiful love between Chelsea and Brawny is fantastic and their personalities and understanding of eachother and love for family puts this wonderful companion over the top.

A clever novella that brings together two people from previous stories. I am enjoying this author's work very much, not only this series but her other ones also.

I loved the chemistry between Chelsea and Brawny! I loved watching them overcome their preconceived notions about themselves. Very well written.

Snowbound by Christine Sterling. I enjoyed this book. The characters are likeable and the romance between Brawny and Doctor Tory was sweet.

I was very COLD reading about all the snow on a snowy weekend here! I enjoyed Chelsea and Brawnys story!
